After someone dies, there is often a great deal to arrange. If an inheritance tax return is required, it is one of the tasks that needs attention. I can help you handle the tax side without having to work through it on your own.
You can also contact me if you are unsure whether a return is needed or if the estate information is still incomplete.
Tell me briefly what you need. We will discuss the options and the costs first.
How can I help?
I assess which information is needed and help you organise it. This may include details of the heirs, a will and the deceased person’s assets and debts.
I then prepare the return, taking into account the applicable valuation rules, shares in the estate and exemptions. I explain the calculation and identify any information that is still missing.
Working through the return step by step
We agree who will be the main contact and how the documents will be provided. If several heirs or an executor are involved, we also agree how communication and approval will work.
Before submission, you will see the return and we will discuss the outcome. I submit it only once the agreed approval has been given.
Tell me what has already been arranged
A brief explanation is enough to start. Please mention the date of death and whether a letter has arrived from the Dutch Tax Administration. I will discuss the work, required information and costs in advance. You can get in touch while you are still gathering the documents.
