How did your business perform over the past year? And which figures do you need for your tax return or a finance application? I prepare your annual accounts and explain what they show.
You can also use this service if you do your own bookkeeping or have it managed elsewhere.
Tell me briefly what you need. We will discuss the options and the costs first.
What do annual accounts include?
The balance sheet shows your business assets, liabilities and equity at the reporting date. The profit and loss account shows the revenue and expenses for the financial year and the resulting profit or loss.
I prepare these statements using your records and make adjustments where needed, such as depreciation and costs relating to another financial year. If information is missing, we discuss what still needs to be provided.
Figures you can understand
We go through the outcome together. For example, I can explain why profit differs from the money in your bank account and how unpaid invoices or loans affect your figures.
This helps you use the accounts to review the past year and discuss decisions for your business.
Applying for a mortgage or finance?
Tell me what the accounts are needed for and which requirements the lender or adviser has set. We can then assess which statements or declarations are requested and what I can prepare for you.
Tell me which financial year you need
Briefly describe your business, how your records are kept and why you need the accounts. I will discuss the required information, timing and costs before starting.
